Used in conjunction with steel wire rope, this braided support cable is specifically designed for our track lighting suspension systems. Cables come in various lengths to accommodate almost any ceiling height. Each cable end is fitted with a barrel terminal. The installation process is tool-free; simply insert one end of the cable into the ceiling coupler and the other into the cable slider. Once the system is installed, you can adjust the cable length by sliding it through the cable slider and releasing the top plunger when necessary. After your track lighting system is in place and at the desired height, simply trim away the excess cable. For more detailed installation steps, please refer to our installation guide

Cable Strand

7×7: Six 1×7 outside strands are cabled around a 1×7 strand center. This is the most standard cable construction. This produces a very flexible cable with good cycle life and excellent breaking strength

1×7: Six wires are laid around one center wire. This strand is more flexible than a 1×3. This construction is commonly used for push-pull applications and for conductive needs with low flexibility.

1×19: Twelve wires are laid around a 1×7 center. This construction is used for more flexible needs than a 1×7 in push-pull and conductive applications. A 1×19 strand is almost as high a breaking strength as a 1×7 strand with the same diameter.
